HOLE
We’re digging a hole for art. (Yes, really.)
We are thrilled to announce a brand-new, full-length Neo-Futurist show: HOLE. Set outdoors at the beach, HOLE is a site-specific play by Amy Langer and Bahaar Taj that revolves around the act of literally digging a large hole in the ground, moving through themes of obsession, identity, community, kindness, and the strange persistence of compulsive digging in pop culture. A play without a fourth wall (or, in fact, any walls), HOLE asks the audience: What needs to be done for you to take up the shovel?

“The SF Neos don’t provide any answers with their new show. Instead, they allow everyone attending to join in on asking the question.” — 48 Hills

Ritual/Theater: Exploring the Power of Gesture on Stage
A three-hour workshop learning about ritual theater and playing with us at the powerful intersection of art, magic and collective healing!
What makes a performance powerful?
How is that power felt, and how is it harnessed?
The histories of theatrical performance and ceremonial practice are deeply intertwined in many traditions throughout the world, and in this workshop we’ll learn and practice a handful of techniques for creating experiences that occupy the space between art and magic.
We’ll draw from hellenistic magical tradition, bhakti yoga and creative lineages including physical theater, Deep Listening and (soma)tic poetry. Through a combination of discussion, solo practice and creative collaboration, students will learn how to translate their intentions into real-world impact — in magical workings and theatrical performances alike.
This workshop is Saturday, September 27.
This workshop is for all bodies and experience levels.
Includes a free ticket to The Infinite Wrench.
We care about everyone in our Bay Area community, so in the spirit of solidarity, we are pleased to pilot a series of monthly mask-mandatory performances of The Infinite Wrench from July through September 2025! During these performances, we will require audience members to stay masked throughout the show. (We may invite select audience members to unmask for plays that involve audience participation.) On our end, we continue our practice of testing all performers weekly for COVID-19 to keep folks safer.
If you need a mask, we’ll have extra on hand. All you need to bring are the 🏄 good vibes 😎.
The next mask-mandatory performance is: Saturday, September 6.
We’re looking for Check-In Volunteers!
Want to help the Neos AND get free tickets for yourself and a friend? Come be a Check-In Volunteer—help us get audience members checked in at the door! It’s a great way to support the company and get an inside look at our work.
No experience necessary! We’ll give you all the training you need, and you sign up for only the nights that work for you.
